Jay-Z has lined up another gig with one of music’s biggest stars. Rap-Up.com is reporting that the hip-hop superstar and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin will be headlining an invite-only New Year’s Eve concert at the new Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Both artists will perform their own set before hitting the stage together for a performance that will be broadcast on the hotel’s 65-foot marquee that overlooks the Vegas Strip. There is also speculation that Jay-Z’s other half — pop megastar Beyonce — is looking for a location in “Sin City” for a New Year’s Eve concert of her own.
Jay-Z just recently wrapped-up a four-part concert series with fellow rapper Eminem. The duo performed two shows at Detroit’s Comerica Park, followed by a pair of shows at New York’s Yankee Stadium. Chris Martin was one of the many famous faces to make a guest appearance alongside Eminem and Jay-Z.
