NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” will be welcoming a rap superstar to its stage next month.  Controversial emcee Kanye West will be the musical guest for “SNL’s” October 2nd episode, which will be hosted by Emmy winner Bryan Cranston of AMC’s “Breaking Bad.”  R&B singer Bruno Mars is also slated to perform on “Saturday Night Live” next month.  The vocalist — who was reportedly arrested in Las Vegas last weekend for drug possession — will appear on the October 9th episode.  That episode will be hosted by Emmy winning actress Jane Lynch of Fox’s “Glee.”  The new season of “Saturday Night Live” begins this Saturday, September 25th with “Parks and Recreation” star Amy Poehler serving as host and pop diva Katy Perry as the musical guest.
