Ne-Yo is enjoying working with pop superstar Beyonce on her next album. The R&B star tells MTV News that working with the “Single Ladies” singer is easy because she always knows what she wants. Ne-Yo explains, quote, “The thing about working with Beyonce is that she definitely has her own agenda. She’s an artist that knows exactly what she wants to do.” Ne-Yo says he’s very good at taking directions, which makes meeting Beyonce’s needs pretty easy. He adds, quote, “I write and she likes it or she doesn’t. And in this case she did, and there you have it.”
Producer Sean Garrett has also been spending time in the studio with Beyonce, and says she’s working with a lot of uptempo sounds. He recently told EW.com, quote, “She’s in such a good place right now in life that she is interested in making party music, definitely.” A release date for Beyonce’s next album hasn’t been announced. Her last effort, 2008’s “I Am…Sasha Fierce,” has sold more than six-million copies worldwide.
