(Columbia, MD) — T.I.’s ongoing legal problems continue to keep him from performing for fans. According to AllHipHop.com, the emcee had to cancel his appearance at Virgin Mobile’s FreeFest in Columbia, Maryland last Saturday. T.I. was replaced on the bill by fellow Atlanta rap star Ludacris. Last weekend’s cancellation marks the second time that T.I. has had to pull out of a show this month. He also cancelled an appearance at Penn State University. T.I.’s legal troubles stem from his arrest on September 1st for possession of a controlled substance. The emcee and his wife were stopped by police for allegedly making an illegal U-turn while driving in Los Angeles. Police reportedly smelled marijuana, and subsequently found a small amount of ecstasy.

T.I. is currently on probation after serving time for weapons charges. A judge has signed a summons ordering Tip to court to explain why his probation shouldn’t be revoked over his latest arrest. A date for T.I.’s court appearance has yet to be announced.
