Rihanna will be spending her Halloween weekend on national TV.  Rap-Up.com is reporting that the singer will be the musical guest during the October 30th episode of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live.”  “Mad Men” star Jon Hamm will join Rihanna as that week’s host.  Rihanna will reportedly perform songs from her upcoming album, “Loud,” which is due in stores on November 16th.  This month’s appearance won’t be Rihanna’s first trip to the “SNL” set.  She famously appeared on the show last December, starring alongside comedian Andy Samberg in the digital short “Shy Ronnie.”  The clip went on to earn an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music and Lyrics.

Rihanna isn’t the only R&B and hip-hop star to appear on “Saturday Night Live” this month.  Kanye West was last weekend’s musical guest, while Bruno Mars will perform on this week’s show.  New episodes of “Saturday Nigh Live” air Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. Eastern on NBC.
