Even though he lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan now, Spike Lee will rep Brooklyn until the day he dies.

Lately he’s been adopting a bad reputation with his girl Alicia Keys and all, but now he’s making a positive move. 

Brooklyn’s most famous son, Jay-Z, was on hand at the ceremonial ground breaking of the Barclays Center at Atlantic Yards in Brooklyn yesterday, the new home and arena of the NJ Nets, of which he is minority owner. The team will soon be renamed the “Brooklyn Nets.”
