When producer J Dilla passed away in 2006 from complications of Lupus, the hip-hop and R&B worlds lost one of the most forward thinking talents it had ever seen.

Dwele performed his song “Angel” at last year’s “Suite For Ma Dukes” where Miguel Atwood Ferguson and Carlos Nino paid tribute to the late J Dilla in contemporary chamber music style.
